The past
reinvents itself when mob legend Mickey Dunn who disappeared in 1976
returns to Las Vegas for a final
killing spree. Disguised as a Mexican fisherman, Dunn alerts the public
that a hood ornament from Mickey’s getaway car back in the 70s was found
in Lake Mead. Hours later the entire gold Cadillac is drudged
up containing a skeleton with a bullet through its head. Across town in
a bar, Michael Myers (AKA disguised Dunn) makes friends with a wheel
chair bound Ken Billings. Dunn later pushes
Billings
into heavy traffic instantly killing him. Nick visits the bar that the
pair was drinking in the night before. The waitress says that the man
with Ken signed a photo at the bar, did a Karaoke number which was taped
and left an empty beer bottle at the bar. Nick finds an old photo in
Ken’s pocket that shows five men including Dunn and
Billings-
both of which have an x drawn through their heads. Meanwhile, a Mason
Carter exits a hotel room with a hooker. An old black woman from another
room asks if he will help her. Once inside, Dunn costumed as the woman,
wraps a thin wire around Carter’s neck and strangles him to death. Sofia confirms that the hotel was registered
to a Pamela Voorhees who paid cash. Lodged in Carter’s throat is the
same picture found on Billings,
except this one has Carter’s head with an X through it. Brass confirms
that a Johnny D’Angelo is also in the picture. Everyone in the old photo
except Dunn is dressed like a casino worker from a valet attendant to a
dishwasher. Johnny says that he, Ken, Mason and Derek Paul used to do
dirty wok for Dunn. They went after him back in 1976 because they
weren’t paid. Sofia tracks down Derek Paul who says he and
his friends drove Dunn off the road and the car went into the river, but
they never saw Dunn dead. Meanwhile, Derek Paul is found shot to death
outside of his mother’s home with the picture in his pocket. At a
chicken farm, Brass finds Johnny D’Angelo’s body mangled and mauled
inside the oven with the picture tapped to his forehead. Grissom
discovers that the fisherman signed his release as F. Krueger tied to
Freddie Krueger, while the killer of Ken Billings’ name was Michael
Myers of Halloween killer Mike Myers. Lastly, Pamela is the name of
Jason’s mother. Grissom believes that the killer of all four victims is
a wizard with prosthetics. But his greatest question is: who are you?
