Showgirl haven, located in Green Valley, becomes a murder scene when Sara finds five showgirls dead in the home’s various rooms bound at the feet and stabbed to death. However, when she enters another room a bloody hand reaches out from under the bed and it happens to be the sixth showgirl Cammie who’s not dead yet, but close to it. Before she dies, she says poor poor wine to Sara. Meanwhile, Nick finds a large man’s bloody footprint on the stairs leading up to the bedrooms. Grissom finds a partial bare footprint on broken glass at the scene. Catherine notices that a gun barrel was placed upon baby powder in one of the girls rooms; she analyzes the impression. She also finds six bloody paper towels in the trashcan. Warrick finds a wine bottle in the kitchen that says “thanks for everything Angels, Love Lewis.” Dr. Robbins finds semen trace on two of the girls. He states that one of the girls was raped. He realizes that the killer’s ceramic knife point broke off in one of the victims. Back at the lab, Wendy confirms that the blood on the six paper towels is from each of the victims; denoting that the killer wiped his knife after each kill. Greg realizes that a journalist named Lewis Greenberg wrote a piece on the girls and remembers that a Lewis bought them the personalized bottle of wine. When Sara interrogates Lewis she realizes that he also bought the girls the knife that they were killed with- a ceramic kitchen knife in purple. His sneaker size matches the size of the bloody footprint found at the scene. Mandy ties a Chris Mullins to prints on the wine bottle. He confesses to sleeping with two of the girls on the night of their death. Meanwhile, a Marlon Frost is found alive, but the victim of a ceramic knife stab wound at a local bar close to the victims’ house. However, when Sara tries to take Frost’s prints at the hospital and he angrily grabs her wrist she wonders if he might have been involved in the killings and stabbed himself with the same knife used at the scene to appear not guilty.
