The annual little people’s convention comes to Las Vegas, and with it, a murder staged to look like a suicide. When Grissom and his team arrive at the scene to find the popular Lawrence Ames hanged, they soon discover that there are more than a few conventioneers who may have wanted him dead.

The person who found his body is a dwarf named Melanie, who is none to happy to be investigated by the “normals” on the CSI team. She acclimates Grissom and the other CSIs to the world she lives in – Lawrence was a “pseudo,” a dwarf with features and head size like ‘normal” people, who had also gone through painful bone lengthening surgery. Lawrence’s pregnant fiancée, the 5’7” Jessica, is discovered
