CSI: CRIME scene investigation
Season 3 -
Episode 3 - Let the Seller Beware
Written by Andrew Lipsitz & Anthony E. Zuiker
Directed by Richard Lewis
An open house becomes a death house, when the two
owners are found murdered – the wife, who’s shot to death, takes a flyer
out the window, and the husband is discovered at the bottom of their
pool.
When the CSIs investigate further, things get a little kinky. They
discover an amateur pornographic video among the couple’s possessions,
starring the dead wife and the unidentified videographer. Grissom and
his team go to the videotape for their motive, but they have no suspect
until they figure out who the man behind the camera is. Is it the slick
realtor, who was a little free with the combination to the lockbox – and
might have been a little too free with the owner’s wife? Is it the
poolman, who never missed an opportunity to give good service? Or was
the dearly departed wife cheating on her husband with someone a little
bit closer to home?
Meanwhile, while Grissom and the rest of the team concentrate on the
double homicide, Sara works a solo at a local high school. The case is
gruesome – a dead cheerleader is found on the soccer field, eviscerated.
The autopsy proves that the girl bled out, but it also shows proof of
something far more disturbing – something, or someone, fed on the
corpse. The dead cheerleader is also found to be infected with the
E-coli bacteria, which means that Sara is looking for a suspect who is
sick – literally and figuratively.
