CSI: CRIME scene investigation

Season 3 - Episode 15 - Lady Heather’s Box

Teleplay by Carol Mendelsohn & Andrew Lipsitz
Story by Anthony E. Zuiker & Ann Donahue and Josh Berman & Bob Harris
Directed by Richard Lewis

Two murder victims, both gigolos, lead Grissom back to the sexually perverse world of the dominatrix Lady Heather.

The first murder – death by stiletto, as Grissom calls it – involves a male escort who is found dead on “foam night” on the dance floor of a hot Vegas club. The most promising suspect, the sultry (Elizabeth Berkeley), who has the right basic instincts to unnerve Captain Brass, turns out to be a false lead when the evidence proves that the victim didn’t die from her stepping on him with her high heels, but from insulin poisoning

The second victim, badly decomposed, is discovered in his apartment, and there is evidence that he, too, was poisoned. Their shared profession connects the two cases and leads Grissom and Brass to their expert in the sexual underground -- Lady Heather, and her kinky domain.

And nothing has changed since their last encounter. Lady Heather (Melinda Clarke) still understands Grissom better than anyone else, and knows that his interest in her has more to do with the evidence he is seeking in the double murders of both men whom she employed than in their unspoken connection.

But this time, Grissom may have met his match. While Lady Heather is willing to help the investigators, she has her limits. But she is interested in going much further with Grissom, and the only question is, how much control is he willing to give up, and how much is he willing to give in to the undeniable chemistry they share?

Meanwhile, Catherine is horrified when her daughter nearly drowns in an automobile accident, one that leaves her ex-husband Eddie (Timothy Carhart) missing, and the driver – a mysterious pink-haired woman – unknown and unfound. Catherine spots blood on the car’s upholstery, and evidence of drug use, but Sara insists she step aside.

And Sara is right. It is soon clear that Catherine is too emotionally involved to help in the official investigation when Lindsay is reluctant to reveal what she knows in her mother’s presence -- that the woman who drove the car into the flooded ravine may have been Eddie’s new girlfriend, and she may have been responsible for his alarming, inexplicable disappearance.
